SELF-CRITICAL DRAWINGS
In talking with my therapist, we've tapped into a few things. It feels like the NHS need to box things off, which can be extremely detrimental given that mental health is not at all one size fits all. One of the internal parts of me is highly self-critical and whilst this in part due to the anorexia, it is also a result of upbringing. I need to learn to give myself a break, and this isn't going to happen if I try and suppress this part of me, so instead these drawings give voice to this part of me. They allow me to acknowledge it, and hopefully I'll be able to work on this.
